It's going to be in a new location at Fifth Third Field, but the annual alumni event promises to be another great time in downtown Toledo.

The 8th Annual District-wide Alumni Event, where TPS Proud graduates can reconnect with former classmates while cheering on the hometown Mud Hens, is set for Friday, June 17, on the fourth floor of the newly renovated Fleetwood Building, adjacent to Fifth Third Field.

There are six new inductees in the Woodward High School Alumni Hall of Fame.

The 2015 inductees are: Marilyn Hainbuch Ewing, Class of 1943; Joseph S. Badyna, Class of 1948; Smitty G. Belcher, Class of 1965; Dr. Daniel J. Winarski, Class of 1966; John James Lepiarz, Class of 1969; and Kevin A. Wietrzykowski, Class of 1977.

The Macomber-Whitney Alumni group held a fun event and raised money for the All-Classes Reunion that will be held on Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11, 2016, at The Pinnacle in Maumee.

The Macomber Macmen played the Macomber Lady Macs in a basketball game on Friday, March 27, at Arlington Elementary, 707 Woodsdale Ave. The event ran from 5:30-8 p.m and all tickets sold -- admission was $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and Under -- benefitted the Macomber-Whitney All-Classes Reunion.

Members of the Start High School Class of 1968 are more than three years away from their 50th anniversary of graduating from the school, but they're already working on creating a lasting memorial at the place that shaped them. You can find the details here: 

In addition, on Tuesday,December 9th, at 6 p.m., members of the Class of 1968 dedicated a spirit tree to Start. The tree was planted in the school's courtyard with the intention of building school spirit and creating a tradition for future classes at Start.
