John Foley’s term as Superintendent will run from May 11, 2007 to July 31, 2010, making him the 28th superintendent of the fourth largest public school district in Ohio.

Foley’s dedication to the children of this district began in 1977 when he taught severe behavior handicapped junior high school students at the Lagrange Achievement Center. Until 1985, he worked with the students in a variety of settings, including Medical College School and Day Treatment program and Kobacker Psychoeducational Center.

"Building For Success" will be the single largest building project in the history of the City of Toledo.
