START HIGH SCHOOL HOSTS INFORMATIONAL EVENING

Start High School is hosting their annual Community Information Night in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. More than 80 local groups and organizations will be on hand to share valuable information with parents and students. Students will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with local college representatives about admission criteria and financial aid options – representatives from the area building trades will also be on hand to talk to students about a career in construction. Parents will have an opportunity to learn more about helping their student prepare for the upcoming Ohio Graduation Test, while meeting with their child’s teachers. Eighth grade students who are planning to attend Start High School next year are encouraged to attend so they can learn more about the benefits of being a Spartan. Representatives from numerous local social service organizations will be on hand; several groups are planning to provide health screenings.
