TPS ANNOUNCES FORMATION OF ACADEMIC TASK FORCE
John Foley, TPS Superintendent, and Dr. Steven Steel, President of the Board of Education, will announce the formation of a community academic task force. The main purpose of the task force will be to ensure academic excellence within the school district. TPS has approached parents, area business leaders and representatives from local healthcare agencies to participate in this important endeavor.
Task force members will review TPS academic programming and will research successful educational offerings utilized by other school districts that have shown significant student progress. The findings of the task force will be used by the administration to determine future educational opportunities provided to Toledo Public School students.
