Thanks to the generosity of Yark Subaru and Yark Subaru Operation Keep Warm, in partnership with United Way of Greater Toledo, the Hub at Pickett Academy recently hosted a successful shoe distribution. A total of 204 pairs of shoes were donated, ensuring that children from Pickett and the surrounding community received new shoes along with two pairs of socks.
"This initiative has made a real difference, ensuring students are warm and are given a little help to get through the winter. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our community partners who make moments like this possible. We continue to strive to have a positive and supportive learning environment" sayes Hub Director Aloee Jackson.
