Bowling Green State University and Toledo Public Schools have entered into a new partnership on Wednesday, Oct. 1, to establish a pathway program to expand access to aviation education and in-demand careers while meeting workforce needs in Ohio and beyond.

As part of the new partnership, TPS students who graduate from the Aerospace and Natural Science Academy of Toledo (ANSAT) and earn FAA airframe and powerplant certifications can transfer up to 28 college credit hours – equivalent to nearly a year of classes – into the BGSU School of Aviation. Once admitted to BGSU, students will be on track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in aviation in three years, specializing in management and operations or flight technology and operations.

BGSU and TPS pathway partnership announcement occurred at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025
