A momentous occasion for the 6th grade class of The Ella P. Stewart Academy for Girls at the Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio. Yesterday was the ceremonial groundbreaking at the Statehouse for the Ohio Women's Monument aiming to honor women's contributions to the state. The girls were able to meet Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson and Ohio State Representatives Erika White and Elgin Rogers. They represented Toledo Public Schools in such an amazing way!
