Now that Toledo Public Schools is operating under a hybrid learning schedule, meal distribution plans for students have been updated. They are as follows:
Students in grades 6-12 can pick up meals daily at one of the following locations from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday through Friday: Bowsher, Start, Scott, Woodward, Rogers, Waite and Woodward high schools or at the Jones Leadership Academy of Business. This pickup schedule will be in place through Friday, November 13.
Students in grades PreK through five (all of whom will now be in their classrooms for two days each week), will be receiving meals on the following schedule:
Group A Students
· On Monday, they will take home breakfast items for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and lunch items for Tuesday and Wednesday
· On Thursday, they will take home breakfast for Friday and Monday and lunch for Friday
Group B Students
· On Tuesday, they will take home breakfast items for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and lunch items for Wednesday, Thursday
· On Friday, students will take breakfast home for Monday and Tuesday and lunch for Friday and Monday
Virtual Academy Students
Starting the week of October 26, students who are enrolled in the academy can pick up breakfast and lunch items on Wednesdays from their respective home school. Parents and guardians will need to call the school by noon on Monday to reserve five days worth of meals for their students.
