The center of a nine-county region of more than 600,000 people in Northwest Ohio, Toledo is a family-oriented city. People who move here are amazed at the maximum "20-minutes-by-car" time it takes to get anywhere in town. Check out our job opportunities!

Situated on the Maumee River, a gateway to the St. Lawrence Seaway, Toledo is a transportation hub. The two major north-south and east-west interstates meet here, placing Toledo less than an hour from Detroit and four hours from Chicago. Lake Erie and its wonderful recreation opportunities are a short ride away.

Once the bicycle capital of the world, then the glass capital, and home of the Jeep since World War II, Toledo has a thriving mix of industry and business. Toledo is proud of Chrysler's decision to build a new Jeep plant right here in the city.

Thousands of people, young and old, visit Imagination Station each month. The city's attractive and bustling waterfront, which includes great restaurants, is yet another major attraction.

Toledo has a strong mayor form of government, with City Council members representing a wonderful mix of ethnically and racially diverse neighborhoods.
