Last year, Toledo Public Schools became a 'cell phone free' school district, per a mandate from Governor Mike DeWine (HB 250). This means students do not have access to their cell phones or other electronic devices during the school day. High school students use Yondr pouches to keep their phones secure during the day, while elementary students use classroom lockboxes. TPS will follow these same protocols this school year.
