As part of the school’s “Building a Bluebird Trail” project, 12 bluebird boxes will be installed in the prairie area located behind Hawkins STEMM Academy.
Students recently built and painted the outdoor bird houses assisted by their project partner, Inspired Lumber Workshop.
The project aims to support the bluebird population, specifically the eastern bluebird, by
providing additional nesting opportunities.
