Manhattan Marsh Expo

Chase STEMM Academy wrapped up a year-long schoolwide project-based learning initiative, a student-led effort in creating new signage to help the community learn more about the five native bird species which call Metroparks Toledo's Manhattan Marsh home.

The Toledo Metroparks supported this project, and the Manhattan Marsh serves as an
extension to their classroom and a living laboratory for students.

The expo will feature:

• Story walks related to the native birds
• Informational signage about the native birds
• Student-produced podcasts
• The unveiling of a new shelter at the marsh
