A big decision was made by students at East Broadway Elementary. During a mock election on Monday, they had the opportunity to select a mascot to represent the Big Green Garden at the school. Spider won the election.
Thanks to a partnership with Kids Voting Ohio, the vote was conducted electronically. School staff members were also encouraged to take part in the mock election. This is part of the school’s social studies curriculum with lessons and activities sorted by grade level.
