Congratulations to Toledo Early College Social Studies students and their teachers, Zach Shepler, Mona Al-Hayani, and Allie Edler, for a strong showing at Ohio History Day in Columbus.
Special recognition goes to Ms. Edler who was awarded the Ohio National History Day Junior High Teacher of the Year award. Ms. Edler and nine students will be competing at the national competition in College Park, Maryland in June. "A heartfelt thanks to all of our teachers, parents, and guardians; their hard work and support is what makes Toledo Early College special," Ms. Al-Hayani writes.
