Dr. Durant and students joined as they meet with representatives from 15 local companies who will had activity tables set up at the school to interact with students.
At midday Dr. Durant gave remarks along with representatives from the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and GM’s Toledo Propulsion Systems (Powertrain) about the importance of Manufacturing Day to
get students interested in manufacturing and engineering related careers, as part of efforts to boost the local talent pipeline.
Following those remarks, company reps participating in the Manufacturing Day event were given a tour of the TTA facility.
