Early Childhood Education

Toledo Public Schools offers a variety of options for children ages 3-5, including both Head Start and preschool classes. We believe that early education is important, and we know that it makes a difference in the lives of children as they enter Kindergarten.

Early Education is available to any student aged 3-5 who resides in the Toledo Public Schools district in a variety of elementary school locations. Both half and full day programs are available.

Thank you for your interest in Toledo Public Schools Early Childhood Programs. Many of our programs are at capacity; however, a waitlist system is in place. The waitlist is built using criteria from the intake forms. All of the Early Childhood programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education which drives our capacity.

For registration information, please call 419-671-9100.
