The Carpentry & Construction Academy is a four-year program open to 9th-12th graders. Students will learn about the sixteen different trades in the construction industry. While in this program engage in hands-on activities which include learning how to operate a forklift, building scaffolding, wall, and floor framing, drywalling, welding, bricklaying, and a variety of other skills needed to be successful in this career path. Students completing this program will be prepared to work in a variety of construction fields ranging from carpentry, masonry, welding, ironworking, and construction management.
