Kids vs. cops chess tournament helps youth learn about police in friendly setting The Toledo Public Schools Department of Public Safety and the Lucas County Sheriff's Department hosted the second annual tournament on Wednesday.
They squared off in a friendly game of chess for nearly two hours Wednesday at the Jones Leadership Academy of Business. The final score was Kids 20 - Cops 0. A special thanks to TPS officer Ryan Kobrak for his help in setting this up and to other members of law enforcement for participating.
